LOVE MARRIAGE & FAIRYTALES | MUSLIM VERSION | SPOKEN WORD (by lebo2196)

Advice on Dealing with Family

“…And I want to remind you of the saying of the Prophet  (صلى الله عليه و سلم): “The believer who mixes with the people and is patient with the harm they inflict is better than the believer who doesn’t mix with the people and isn’t patient with the harm they inflict,” as reported by Ahmad and others from Ibn ‘Umar.

Based on this, what I advise you to do is to be patient with your family and to withstand their harm and to strive to give them da’wah and try to save them from the Fire, as in the verse: {“O you who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones. It has stern, severe Angels watching over it who don’t disobey Allah in what He orders them with, and they do all that they are ordered.”} [at-Tahrim; 6]

And I hope you don’t think of leaving the house and abandoning them. Exhaust all means of da’wah with them, especially if staying with them will have some effect on even a few of them.

Beware of starting off in a harsh and extreme way that will turn them off. Rather, talk to them according to what they understand with wisdom and kindness, as Allah Said: {“Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and kind way of speaking, and discuss with them in the best way.”} [an-Nahl; 125]

And remember the saying of the Prophet  (صلى الله عليه و سلم): “Give glad tidings, and do not turn people away,” and: “Indeed, gentleness isn’t found in something except that it beautifies it, and it isn’t removed from something except that it ruins it.”

And start with the most important issues, and go in order. Don’t get into arguments with them over secondary matters while their principles are messed up. Instead, begin by addressing the principles, and if you happen to come across problems in secondary issues, tie it to the main principles and don’t make your enmity with them except when it comes to the basic principle of the Religion, Tawhid, its nullifiers, and what breaks its firm handhold…”

LMBO “I got mind control over DEBO! He be like stfu…and I be quiet, but when he walk away? I talk again” loool

And you quoted it wrong. It’s “I be talking again”.

I just find it so awkward all this F thing, cursing and such words from you guys. or is it just a western thing that I can’t relate to?

subhanallah! look at how prophet Noah(AS) cried for his son to embark on the Ark, but his son refused and believed that high mountain will saved him from the water. “THERE IS NO PROTECTION TODAY FROM THE PUNISHMENT OF ALLAH!…”

when Noah(Alayhi salam) cried to ALLAH “my lord! surely my son is of my FAMILY!”

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala answered: “O noah! he is not of thy family, for his conduct is unrighteous”

take note the AL WALA WAL BARA here. ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR!

Democracy is Shirk ᴴᴰ (by TheMercifulServant)

I came across to this video by brother abdurrahman green on youtube where he was talking about the SHAHADA(testimony of faith) of his father 10 days before he died…  what I learn from watching the video is that when it comes to inviting people to Islam even within the family, we have to understand that our real job is to INVITE and to pass on the message of Islam… we can give them the materials, we can talk to them, we can do any possible that we can, yet sometimes things don’t come easy… Allah is the one who guide whom HE wills. we cannot GUIDE, we can only INVITE. I been posting related to this topic because I know many of us can relate on this struggle.

Narrated `Umar Ibn Al-Khattab:I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Deeds (their correctness and rewards) depend upon intentions, and every person gets but what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits, or for a woman to marry, his emigration is for what he emigrated for.”(Sahih-ul-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 1)

I was sick of all of the degrading Hijabi VS Non Hijabi comparison pictures, so I decided to make a more respectable version.-Laila Best (SalamSeeker)

AMEN.

Its still shit. This is only based off of your understanding and interpretation. You really wanna be respectful?
Stop making these things period.

I want to say something to this too, I’m happy that the blonde lady isn’t slut-shamed, that’s nice to see. However the lady in the black abaya + hijab is portrayed as Muslimah who dresses “properly”, which means that if you don’t wear what she wears you’re not dressing “properly” & you’re not pleasing Allah, which is incorrect since there are various of interpretations about this, however I believe the people who like/reblogged this (without adding something contrary to the above) are agreeing with this picture. Also I don’t see any point in making such an illustration, but that’s just my opinion. Allahu alim.

I just hate these things in general. It’s always a non-jabi vs hijabi, not taking into accounts things such as culture, environment etc. No two Muslimahs are going through the same thing and no two are the same.

Honestly, she tries to make something more positive and its getting hate instead. Hijab is MANDATORY in Islam. It DOES please Allah. All she was trying to do is remove the hate non-hijabis get for not wearing it.

Wow. Look at all these people getting offended over proper hijab. The hijabi pictured is an example of proper hijab. The prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) says that it is best to wear two layers of clothing when going out. You have your jilbab/abaya and your house clothing underneath, of course topped with your hijab/khimar. And for the Quranists up in this post, the Quran also mentions wearing layers when Allah says that it is permissible for the old, old, old sisters to remove their outer covering. However, in other countries where the jilbab or the abaya is unheard of or next to nonexistent, and the women wear loose pants and long tunics with the dupatta (or even chador) on top- this extra wide and long scarf ALSO counts as an outer covering and meets the requirements of what is known as proper hijab. Calm down.

Allahu akbar! the comments is what drives me crazy. look, if you have problem with yourself that you can’t SUBMIT on the matter of hijab, then we cannot force you to, “there’s no compulsion in religion” thoughit’s in our(or atleast MY) du’a that may Allah make it easy for all of us to fully submit coz that’s what ISLAM means SUBMISSION… but please could you STOP speaking against it? coz you’re putting yourself in a DANGER of denying an obligationand commandment. ALLAHU MUSTA’AN.
